For Visitors: What should you expect when visiting Cross Road?
We are a warm, authentic, family-oriented congregation that welcomes visitors and is happy that you chose to worship with us!
Our building is bright and clean, and we have coffee and snacks available.
On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery staffed by background-checked volunteers to take care of your little one(s) while you worship—although you are always welcome to keep them with you if you’d prefer!
Our services are normally under an hour and a half, including worship through song, communion time, corporate prayer, a short break, and the sermon; we also encourage fellowshipping before and after services!
We have in-sermon games for kids (Sermon Bingo, a related word find and crossword) each week, as well as easy-to-follow bulletin inserts and slides to assist in focus, comprehension, and retention for all ages.
For Sunday School classes and Wednesday night classes, we have options for different age groups in order to have more age-appropriate learning opportunities (teachers of kids’ classes are also background-checked).
***We try to be appropriately cautious when the pandemic numbers are high, but we also believe risk is a part of life. We encourage sick people to stay home until they’re healthy, but we also trust people to use their God-given discretion. Your vaccination status or whether you wear a mask have no bearing on how you will be treated at Cross Road!
