Mark Berrier, Pastor

Mark Berrier was born and raised in the North Dallas area (of the great state of Texas)!  He grew up in the Independent Christian Church, influenced by two wonderful, godly parents who tried hard to model Christian faithfulness.  He received a degree in Bible from Dallas Christian College in 1997, and since then has been serving the Lord in ministry for more than two decades, with about half of that time in youth ministry and the latter half in pulpit ministry as senior pastor.  Theologically speaking, Mark prefers to practice expository preaching, teaching the Bible as accurately and applicably as possible, because he believes that God speaks most clearly through His Word–not the opinions of pastors.  When he’s not working or doing family things, he enjoys movies, trail-riding, reading, kayaking, playing guitar, and lifting heavy objects.  Mark and his lovely wife, Shannan, live in McKinney with their three youngest children, and near their eldest son (and daughter-in-law).
